​This month, OnePlus is set to release its newest compact flagship, OnePlus 13T in China. The intention behind this upcoming device is to satisfy customers who would like better performance in a more handleable form. Here is an in-depth overview of the OnePlus 13T’s design, specs, and expected price.​

Design and Display

It is expected that the OnePlus 13T would have a 6.3 inch OLED display of 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, delivering a beautiful display for video and smooth scrolling. The screen for the phone is this, showing us a departure from a more standard large 6.82-inch screen found on the OnePlus 13 while also showing us that the company is committed to offering a premium device, but small.

The handset is going to have a glass back and a metal frame with straight edges which will give off a clean and modern look.

Customizable Shortcut Key

A significant design change from the T series is that the OnePlus 13T is also bringing a customisable shortcut key in place of the conventional alert slider. This new button will be situated on the left side of the device and will keep standard functionality like mute, vibration, and switching from ring to vibration mode.

In addition, the users will be able to design various system operations so as to improve the usability of the device. According to OnePlus China President Louis Lee, OnePlus is looking at it as an intriguing feature of the button with more to come in the coming days.

On the hardware side, the OnePlus 13T will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor thereby making it quite capable off handling demanding applications and multitasking. The device is expected to come with configurations featuring a maximum 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage as it is designed for users with huge internal storage and performance needs.

The device has been subjected to the benchmark tests, and the OnePlus 13T scored 3,006,913 points on the AnTuTu platform. The score comprises a CPU score of 678,498, GPU score of 1,268,838, memory score of 569,999, and UX score of 489,578, indicating its ability to perform high.

Camera System

OnePlus 13T photography enthusiasts can expect a dual camera. It comes with a 50-megapixel camera that is the primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) to shoot sharp and detailed images. To add to this is a 50 megapixel telephoto lens that delivers 2x optical zoom and allows users to see close ups of objects that are located far away. It is also worth noting that the device will not come with an ultra wide angle fundamental lens. Information about the front‑facing camera has not been provided.

Battery and Charging

Even with its small size, the OnePlus 13T is packed with a large 6,200 mAh battery, beating the 6,000 mAh of the OnePlus 13. The battery capacity in this is larger and is aimed at giving users more usage time, taking into account power users in particular. 80W fast charging will be supported by the device, to replenish your battery life and get you back up and rolling as soon as possible. ​

Expected Price and Launch Details of OnePlus 13T

The OnePlus 13T is rumoured to be priced between CNY 4,000 and CNY 4,500 (approximately ₹47,000 to ₹53,000) in terms of pricing. As per this pricing strategy, the OnePlus 13T could be less priced than the OnePlus 13, which was priced starting at CNY 4,499 in China and launched in India at ₹69,999. No confirmed date of launch to other markets has been confirmed although the official launch date in China is expected later this month.
